A little bit about me
I’m an artist, writer, university lecturer and passionate lover of the world.
I worked for many years as a writer, curator and project manager on large art, social justice and cultural history projects, which showcased the knowledge of traditional elders from language groups across north Western Australia. That precious time I was privileged to spend with old people awakened me to radically different ways of perceiving reality and to the porous dimensions beyond the physical appearance of things, which illuminated the mysteries and mythic narratives of the sky for me.
I came to ‘western’ astrology much later. Like so many others, I found astrology during a long night of the soul and discovered in it a rich world of philosophical depth, practical insight and healing power. Now as an astrologer, I’m passionate about empowering others to trust their intuition, work with their gifts and challenges, achieve their potential and thrive.
I’m trained in Hellenistic philosophy and techniques but I draw on a range of diverse traditions - from medieval Islamic, Jyotish, Babylonian and Jungian archetypal practices to other modern and contemporary astrological methodologies. I work with transits, annual profections, secondary progressions, solar returns, horary and zodiacal releasing in forecasting and predictive work, and in readings I use the techniques best tailored to your interests, needs, questions and concerns. Readings are conducted by Zoom and are designed to deliver value on subsequent listens, and you’ll receive an emailed link to download your recording, usually the following day.

An aspect of my past negative view of astrology was the implication that the future is ‘locked’ in some concept of fate. But my reading with Monique was factually relevant and accurate in terms of my background experience and it identified my ‘drivers and values’ as a framework for addressing issues in need of reinforcement and/or potential change.
